Why Cathedral Cafes?

This has absolutely nothing to do with religion – this is about a special group of giant, amazing buildings.

We have 44 Cathedrals spread across England in towns and cities offering us streets to explore, pubs to frequent and people to meet. We will be visiting each one of them!

On each trip we will score the Cathedral over 5 core categories. These are carefully chosen categories and will encapsulate all important features of the Cathedral.

Every visit will be marked by the purchase of a tea towel and a refreshment in the cafe. Once 44 tea towels are owned, 44 refreshments gained, this project will end and the most brilliant of all Church Of England Cathedrals can be announced.
